Male
Malé is the densely populated capital of the Maldives, an island nation in the Indian Ocean. It’s known for its historic mosques and colorful skyscrapers. The National Museum, in Sultan Park, showcases regional artifacts like ancient weapons and sultans’ thrones. In the north of the city, Huskuru Miskiiy is a 17th-century mosque built of coral stone and housing intricate wood carvings.

Banana Reef
Located in North Malé Atoll, Banana Reef is globally renowned for being one of the best diving sites in the world. It was, in fact, the very first diving spot in Maldives to get recognition for licensed diving and training. Shaped like a banana, the reef is choc-a-block with exuberant marine life, fantastic corals, amazing cliffs, overhangs, and caves. And thanks to the myriad adventure activities here, it is one of the favorite places to visit in Maldives for the adventure junkies.

AliMatha Island
Alimatha is in Vaavu Atoll and sits on the eastern edge of Maldives roughly 4 degrees north of the equator. Its reef is the southern edge of Myaru Kandu, one of the most famous channel dives in the whole world. This dive location is so beautiful that it has been included within the government-sanctioned list of protected dive sites. Myaru in Dhivehi – the Maldivian language – means shark and Kandu means channel: the name says it all. Another protected dive site is Fotteyo Kandu, a 90 minutes boat ride from Alimatha: the spectrum of different colours found in the wall-covering soft corals is astounding, truly a case of nature being more fantastic than fantasy itself.
Artificial Beach
Artificial beach in Maldives provides an opportunity to Maldivians to enjoy a good swim during summers. Infact, the beach is now not just meant for enjoying an evening walk or a swim, but also it is gaining popularity owing to a variety of entertainment activities that take place here like the different kinds of water sports, live music shows etc. Carnivals and parades are also conducted here.
HP Reef
HP Reef in Maldives is a marine protected area located to the north of Girifushi in North Male Atoll. HP Reef is a stunning reef with spectacular caves and crannies decked up with superb coral formations and rich colorful marine life. You can swim through a huge cave following to the top of the reef known as ‘chimney’ at 24 meters. Blue delicate corals beautifully decorate the cave. Spot rainbow runner, dog-toothed tuna, barracuda and blue-fin jack playing around. You will also sight gray reef sharks and eagle rays.
Fihalhohi Island
Fihalhohi Island, situated at the South Kaafu Atoll in Malé, is one of the most attractive and gorgeous places in Maldives to spend your hard earned holidays.
